Contributed to the development of a movie and TV show review web application called Movie Share. Movie Share is a social media hybrid web application designed for movie and TV show enthusiasts, allowing users to review and rate titles, engage in forum-style discussions, add friends, send direct messages, and explore user profiles and rating lists to discover others' opinions on reviewed content. As a developer on a team of five members with one project manager, key responsibilities while working on the web application included creating and managing individual tasks on a Scrum board, participating in weekly team meetings to engage in meaningful discussions to plan future tasks and highlight potential issues with our current project, collaborating with team members to develop frontend, managing the database for testing purposes, resolving code conflicts, maintaining adherence to coding standards and style guides, implementing features in alignment with Figma design prototypes, managing the Git repository, conducting peer code reviews, debugging, hosting usability testing, and ensuring progress towards roadmap milestones and agenda completion. Experience gained from this project strengthened skills in the use of certain technologies, collaborative frontend development, database management, and agile software practices.
